Preschool Program
33 Months to 1st Day of Kindergarten
Our preschool program focuses on school readiness with a structured weekly curriculum that teaches art, science, math, writing and social skills. Our "family team" helps to strengthen each child's decision making and self help skills in a safe supportive classroom environment.
Classroom
The preschool classroom is set up to allow preschoolers to involve themselves in independent decision making in their classroom. The children can explore dramatic play, literary activities, discovery science projects and a quiet reading area.
Safety and Training
Our "family team", made of highly educated and qualified teachers, is certified in CPR, and First Aide training. Anna's Bananas Daycare & Preschool has a professional nurse visit monthly to inspect the safety of the center's environment and to review and discuss any illness that has been reported in the last month.
Communication
Anna's Bananas Daycare & Preschool knows how important it is to keep the parents involved in their child's daily activities, development and milestones. That's why we provide you with the following:
- Parent-teacher conferences twice a year
- The building of personal relationships with each family
- Encouraging daily/weekly calls or emails from parents to our "family team" to support communication
- Open door facility; we promote parent visits to the center at anytime to observe or participate in their child's day.
Anna's Bananas Daycare & Preschool utilizes Daily Connect
A unique web based application that sends updates on your child's day to your smartphone, tablet, or computer throughout the day. Daily Connect will also send you an end of the day report to the e-mail of your choice!
